[OOC]
 • Backtagging: Absolutely!
 • Threadhopping: It's okay for me if you jump in any of my threads, just make sure the person roleplaying with me is okay with it.
 • Fourthwalling: I'm open to it, expect her to be confused thought. I am also not really a big fan of people going all 'You're just a fictional character' but it can be worked out
 • Sensible topics: I'm open to a lot of mature themes so feel free to ask. Just know that Rape and pedophilia are a big no for me.
[IC]
 • Hugging: Absolutely! She actively seeks physical contact with others, hugs will be more than welcome no matters if she just met your character, she'll not shy away from anyone.
 • Shipping in general: Rydia has no canonical love interest in the game (The only official relationship chart shows that Edge's interest is one sided) and in general doesn't show much interest in the romantic side of life so... I don't know? She'll be more oriented toward friendship but if there's good chemistry I'm more willingly to give any pairing a chance.
 • Stealing from her: It really depends on what you want to take. She spent most of her life in a small community in which most people shared things, Rydia won't mind too much if some of her items disappear- the only exception being her weapons and the headpiece she always wears.
 • Fighting/Injuring her: It's all okay, maybe ask if you have something specific in mind?
 • Killing her: Ask first, please, but if it makes sense I'm open to it.

While Rydia was getting more and more used to the Surface world, she also found some things... a bit ridiculous. The summoner couldn't genuinely understand why Kain would end up spending pretty much every evening writing on papers whatever he did with the rest of the dragoons instead of... well, doing anything else. Paperwork in general confused her, all that stuff was just going to be relegated between all the documents of the castle and forgotten.

"Mmmh..."

Her relationship with Kain was something neither of them expected, it just... sort of happened as they bonded over their common love for dragons. She loved spending time with him, especially when they could cuddle together on the bed or worked in the stables together, but… no, he was spending all his evenings at his desk, working.

Sweet Bahamuth, she was so bored whenever they had both to spend their time locked in the house and her only company was the dragoon’s back as he sat on the chair. She tried cooking, only to create some monstrosities and getting scolded (it wasn’t her fault she never cooked anything that wasn’t a bug, a monster of the depth or some kind of weird mushroom, the Feymarch was…. different.). She tried picking up knitting like Rosa suggested, only to throw her needles out of the window in frustration after hours of struggle. She even tried to pick up books but… everything Rosa gave her was all about love and incredibly boring.

She rolled over in their bed, annoyed, then finally decided that enough was enough. For one night she was going to… well, have her partner’s attention.

“Kain?” Rydia finally called, jumping out of bed and hopping in his direction. It didn’t matter if she was just in her night gown as she strolled across the house, did it? “Kain? Do you have a minute?” She finally asked, poking her head in his little study and finding him at his usual place..

Name: Rydia of Mist
Door: Left door

Canon: Final Fantasy IV
Canon Point: The After Years - Right after an emergency landing near Agart.

Age: 20-25 (apparent), 40-50 or even more in reality (It's unknown and it's hinted that the place she was raised in either stopped her aging at some point but there's nothing canon about it beside that 'In the Feymarch time flows erratically')
Appearance: X , X

History: Wikipedia link here

Personality
:

She's generally trusting and forgiving to a fault... and she can be seen trying to push her everyone deserves a second chance on those around her as well. She's by no means a super patient saint, she has her bursts of rage (That can be quite violent, too) and she will take her time to forgive certain behaviours but- it's not always for the best. And trying to convince others to do the same isn't always a good thing and can backfire. She definitely gets overly sentimental over family bonds. That villain who almost killed everyone and seeked redeption only in the last five minutes? Cecil, come on, that's your only brother!

Once incredibly honest to a fault, she is now keeping down her most unpleasant feelings. She will still be direct as she can, especially when upset with someone, but she will not talk easily of what pains her.

Despite being known for her optimism in the original game, 17 years after saving the world she is a more melancholic person: being forced out of the Feymarch, the land she had been raised into, clearly hurt her. In both Palom's tale and Rydia's the summoner can be seen
trying to return to her homeland just to be pushed away, she doesn't seem to take it lightly.

Unlike her younger self, who always pushed forward, Rydia at this point of canon may be prone to give up if sadness overcomes her. A clear example is probably a scene at the beginning of her tale in which after seeing all the creatures in her homeworld turned into stone, realizing that one of her friends may be involved with it and having to escape the cave she was in... she just
sits down and seems ready to let a monster take her life.

Rydia is allowing the past to catch up with her, she can be also seen stopping in her path more than once to reminescence about
negative moments of her past journey and momentary disconnecting from what's happening around her, but when needed she will still try sound positive and reassuring for those around her. With time and with the company of good friends she will have good chances to regain the energy and happiness that defined her in the past, especially if she sees them suffering (When her companion is the one giving up her hopes after they crash near Agart she is the one finally snapping out of her sadness and trying to give her strenght by reminding how her mentor would react in that situation.).

She tends to have a protective attitude, especially toward her friends and younger people. Raised by the creatures of the Feymarch, monsters of all shapes and size, Rydia tends to dismiss a person's look instead focusing on someone's actions instead. She has very limited understanding of race based racism since in the underground everyone has a place and a role-(And even if Mist was originally created to keep summoners and humans apart since mixing bloods would translate in weaker summoners- she was eight when the village was destroyed and she never really assimilated that.).

Deep down she still is a strong woman who can fight against any kind of adversities with a positive outlook, she still wants to have friends and deep bonds with those around her and even if at this moment the energy that defined her seems to be missing Rydia just needs time to find her spark once more.

Sexually speaking: she's rather vanilla. She had little to no experience with partners and most of them were dwarves she met while traveling between the surface and the Feymarch. Rydia still doesn't know herself well but from what she has seen so far she tends to be dominant between the sheets, likes to bite and scratch and likes both men and women.

Powers and Abilities:
 • Rydia is specialized in offensive magic, the full list can be found here. She is used to fight from the back row, casting spells while being protected by physically stronger party members since her defenses aren't too great.
 • She is also technically a summoner but at the point of the canon I'm taking her from all her summons have been petrified and she had no access to them.
 • She's really good at math. In the DS version of the game there are five minigames themed to the main characters's skills (Rosa meditates, Edge does ninjutsu stuff, Kain jumps around, Cecil defends against waves of Goblins) and Rydia's minigame is... math.
 • She can navigate underground just fine even without many indications, perks of her being raised in a large cave between the eidolons.

CHARACTER
Character Name: Rydia of Mist
Character Age: unknown
Canon: Final Fantasy IV
Canon Point: After defeating Zeromus and returning to the Feymarch, before Interlude

History: Rydia's page in the Wiki

Personality:
Strongly driven by the need to protect and assist others, Rydia is a strong willed and kind woman who will not hesitate to travel across the World to protect it, nor to step in and help those in need. She enjoys to be between other people, enjoying company and finding her own strenght in those she keeps around. Her affections is shown in words and physical contact, more than once she clings to Cecil in the 3D version and it's easy to see her equally affectionate with other people too (The After Years completely removes this aspect of her personality as it gets rid of her different way to walk -shorter and faster steps than the others and a slightly more defensive resting stance- but that can easily be blamed on the fact that all ladies in the game who aren't dwarves have the same moveset and even cutscenes only use those basic ones.)

Rydia is known between her friends for her ability to forgive basically everyone's actions (even if it may take some time, as she admits herself that in the DS version of the game) and for her motherly attitude toward most of her friends. She's also incredibly honest, lying only when she doesn't want others to worry and when she thinks it's necessary to protect someone else.

Raised by the creatures of the Feymarch, monsters of all shapes and size, Rydia tends to dismiss a person's look instead focusing on someone's actions instead. She has very limited understanding of race base racism since undeground she was raised knowing that everyone had a place and had its importance (And even if Mist was originally created to keep summoners and humans apart since mixing bloods would translate in weaker summoners- she was seven when the village was destroyed and she never really assimilated that.).

As her description in World of Final Fantasy implies, she is slightly a "fish out of water" between humans, not always understanding their motivations or ideals and sometimes clashing with them in terms of believes, it's not uncommon from her to take a joke literally or attempt to use Feymarchian humor... usually only to get confused looks from those she's talking with. She'll also not appreciate fancy events where things are too formal, prefering celebrations where she can dance and sing with others. Rydia had been raised in a drastically different community in a world where time didn't seem to pass, seasons didn't exist and the sun didn't shine, considering at her canon point she only spent a few months in the surface while fighting 'the big bad' and then returned underground to her people her concept of time may be a bit messed up (Not to mention she has no idea how old she actually is).

The summoner is still afraid of fire: she's known to be able to overcome her fear in time of need but she'll avoid it if possible, barely using it to cook and warm herself when really needed.

Headcanon wise, I also see her still afraid of large pools of water considering the traumatic way Leviathan kidnapped her when she was a child: the boat Rydia, Yang and Cecil were traveling with was sunk, she was swallowed by what she thought to be a monster and then spent her whole life without getting close to sea once more.

Another headcanon: she is a picky eater when it comes to vegetables but will eat bugs and mushrooms without many questions. Again, raised deep underground in a city with no visible farms or lands it's safe to assume most of their food comes from hunting more feral monsters while fresh greens were probably a rare delicacy.

Inventory: Her clothes and jewels, a magically enhanced whip and a bag with a clean set of clothes and food supplies/a day worth of food.

Abilities:

- Rydia is specialized in offensive black magic, wielding destructive powers with ease and summoning creatures on the battlefield who'll fight at her side. Considering how her eidolons are independent characters with personalities and their small stories in certain cases I'd just handwave this skill assuming she is unable to call them at her side. It's worth mentioning she seems unable to use white/healing spells for unknown reasons: during her personal trial she is forced back in a child's body and she can use healing skills once more, hinting she never really forgot those,

- Navigating underground tunnels is her specialty considering she was raised in an underground city. She'd never be able to find her way on her own on the surface, not even with the help of a starry sky or large landmarks but give her a cave to map and she'll find her way.

Flaws:
 • Too trusting and forgiving to a fault... and trying to push her everyone deserves a second chance on those around her as well. She's by no means a super patient saint, she has her bursts of rage (That can be quite violent, too) and she will take her time to forgive certain behaviours but- it's not always for the best. And trying to convince others to do the same isn't always a good thing.
 • She definitely gets overly sentimental over family bonds. That villain who almost killed everyone and seeked redeption only in the last five minutes? Cecil, come on, that's your only brother!
 • Rydia is still afraid of fire and explosions, even if she'll use her spells when needed, and she'll gladly leave her duties to other people if they involve dealing with large fires. While she usually offers her help to anyone... in those cases she'll easily say "Yeah, you can do it."
 • She can get pretty sassy when people do things she consider stupid.

CR AU
Previous Game and Time: Hadriel, during 2017
Previous Development: She had been inside the city before and will remember the people she previously met inside of it. Not too thrilled by the idea of being toyed by the Gods, she was still able to accept it since it was needed to keep everyone safe, and she started to focus most of her efforts toward the library, trying to recover all white books and trying to write down some of the stories she remembered from her childhood and asking other people to help her with their own tales. She made some friends in there, especially doting on kids like Frisk and Asriel (Undertale), admiring the local guard and supporting those who helped each other as she could.

The Ugly Chocoling
Author: Rydia | Quality: average
Summary: A black chocobo is born in a farm and is abused by his friends and family because his plumage is different and he doesn't run too fast. He lives a sad life, isolated from the rest of the birds, until King Fat Chocobo decides to pay the farm a visit and- much to everyone's surprise- the black chocobo finds out his mom had an affair and he's just a different breed and the reason he was a bad runner is that his subspecies is specialized in flight, not terrial movements. It's kinda weird, but Rydia tried.

BFT (Big Friendly Titan)
Author: Rydia | Quality: average
Summary: The misadventures of a giant that is trying to make friends. Even if he tries incredibly hard he always ends up causing problems with his insane strenght. In the end he befriends a small three headed woman who proves herself stronger than him and follows her in a misterious city underground where he finally meets a lot of 'weird' creatures like him.

Fishing with Leviathan
Author: Rydia | Quality: average

It's a tale of two almost identical big sea dragons that try to kill each oher, it ends with Leviathan winning and everyone in his misterious hidden city enjoying the meat of his opponent. Rydia TRIED to write some action oriented parts but she's not too good at it.

Bahamuth wants a new house

CHARACTER
Character Name: Rydia
Character Age: Unknown (20-ish... something, maybe? There's no real canon about it but she does look like a young woman)
Canon: Final Fantasy IV
Canon Point: Post FFIV - after Cecil and Rosa's wedding/Living in the Feymarch

History: Wiki here!

Personality:
Rydia's most definining traits are her honesty and her kindness: she's a person who will always try her best to be honest and it would be incredibly easy to spot a lie between her words because her facial expressions will always betray what the summoner really thinks. The only exception? "I'm okay". The summoner is extremely good at pretending everything is okay when she wants to hide her discomfort in front of others- that being said she's a determined and positive woman who will not be afraid to push herself to her limits.

The summoner is strongly driven by the need to help and protect others, living in what she considers the best time of her life (The Blue Planet is safe, she can just live underground with her family, all her friends are happy...) Rydia will not hesitate to do her best to bring joy to the people around her. And while she is more than devote to her human friends and her undeground family, instinctively prioritizing them over others, Rydia is a social person and will not hesitate to befriend strangers ignoring their race, gender or their origins.

It's worth noting that spending most of her childhood and part of her adulthood in the Feymarch and then isolating herself in what was left of Mist (an already reclused community) made Rydia a bit alienated from how normal human communities work (It's worth nothing it's canon, now, since the World Of Final Fantasy description mentions she feels like a 'fish out of water'*.). She can mix well enough between humans but now and then there may be some weird moments where she may not understand a joke or struggle to understand why someone acts in a certain way.
And, speaking of weirdness- she will probably love the idea of being underground since she's been raised in a cave for most of her life.

She doesn't like to be alone and this is seen more than once in the games: taking her eidolons, who seem to be linked not only by magic to her, away makes her feel lost, both in TAY and in her special trial on the moon. Having someone at her side makes her strong and considering she'll lose her eidolons after arriving in another world she'll definitely try to know more people, being slightly biased toward non human races.

Other traits worth mentioning are her ability to forgive basically everyone (Even Cecil and Kain, who burnt down her village, and Golbez who ordered Cagnazzo to have Mist destroyed.), even more than once, and her motherly attitude toward others. Rydia also enjoys physical contact, probably something she grew accostumed to in the Feymarch: more than once (At least in the 3D version of FFIV) she can be seen clinging to Cecil's arm, even when Rosa was at their side, it's safe to assume touching people she cares about gives her strenght.

Inventory:
- Her clothes
- A Whip
- A couple of rings

Abilities:

- Rydia is really good with magic: she had been a spellcaster since childhood and kept training for most of her life, she specializes in offensive magic having access to elemental spells (Mainly fire, water, lightning and ice) and skills that allow her to poison, petrify or stun her enemies. Since her real main skill, the ability to summon, includes calling at her side sentient characters that may be apped as unlikely as it is I'd rather just handwave it nerfing it completely.

- The summoner has been raised underground and before rejoining Cecil's party she navigated alone her way out of the Feymarch so I'm assuming she's skilled enough in finding her way in caves and similar places- being at least more able to orient herself than an average person.

Flaws:

- Rydia is a generally good person and her naivety in trusting others may be her biggest flaw: as she forgave everyone who wronged her in her world, she will probably keep doing the same in Hadriel- which may cause more problems than anything else. With this I don't mean she'll have the patience of a saint, Rydia will get angry when people are rude or do things she consider stupid (And any racist behaviour will probably cause her to overreact), but she'll definitely be more prone than others to offer the other cheek.

- She seriously struggles in dealing with death. After Mist's destruction she's been in a world where creatures are basically immortal and not only we see her almost breaking down in Eblan's cave (In front of Edge, a stranger back then) at the idea that someone else may die but we know all the 'dead people' of the game somehow returned (All of them but Tellah)- she's not going to handle that topic too well.

- If something involves fire, she'll probably try to give her job to someone else. While she can use fire and combat with it, Rydia still doesn't like it at all.

- She is extremely sentimental when it comes to family and blood bonds, one can see that ingame when Golbez is apparently leaving forever and she's the one trying to push Cecil to say goodbye because "he's your only family", no matters what the other man did.

- Rydia sincerely dislikes misogynistic comments of sort: she considers herself on the same level of men and she wants to be treated like one of the group, trying to protect her because she's a woman will probably push her to attempt something stupid instead. (like when she and Rosa hid on the Moonwhale because the men wanted them to stay behind.) And yes, she will be smug about it.

[Rydia had never been too fond of vegetables, the only plants they had in her land were overgrown thorny bushes that almost guarded the entry of the Feymarch. She had never really liked fruits and berries but she usually tolerated them, mostly to please Rosa and Cecil, even managing to reintroduce some in her diet but those red things... big cherries, maybe? Those were creeping her out. And while the summoner loved monsters in all shapes and forms the tomatoes didn't seem friendly monsters like the ones she grew with.]

Why don't we both pick different ways?

[She certainly didn't want to attack them, they probably meant no harm like most of the misunderstood monsters she met during her life, but a strange gut feeling kept telling her to run. One started to roll in her direction, another one followed it...]

Oh, come on, my cherry friends!

[Rydia smiled, waving her hands in front of her and taking a couple of steps back: if they were going to attack her she wasn't going to be unprepared. The summoner was ready to defend herself and if they were plant creatures like the sylphs a good fire spell on them all was probably going to suffice... right? She just had to keep distance to have enough time to eventually cast the spell!]

You know, in my world we have creatures that look like you, but they're flying and they're made of fire. They show equally amazing smiles...

[Well, they had the same crazy 'I'm going to explode in your face' expression... but even if the summoner befriended a good amount of Piros in her homeworld those weird strawberries kept sending her hostile vibes. Oh, yes, they were definitely going to attack, she just had to look around to notice how they slowly managed to surround her to know they were up to no good. Her right hand moved to grab the whip and she started focusing her energies to prepare a spell.] Oh well... [Like she fought hostile creatures on her planet to defend she was definitely going to bite back if she had to.]

Age: unknown (at least 25 years between humans and an unknown amount of years between monsters)

Canon World

Rydia has 'two' worlds and this section will try to cover them both.

First, she is a child of the Feymarch, a colony of monsters who live underground guided by eidolons. They have magic, they don't seem to have any kind of real technology and everything is made out of wood. She grew up in a place where time flows herratically (it's implied it's faster than how it flows in the human world) but nothing really changes. There's no sun, no seasons, creatures just 'live' there and the society seems to consider the summons some sort of guide for the community while normal monsters peacefully enjoy their time in the 'World Below'. There is little to say here beside that humans aren't welcome in the land. Under the city there's some kind of dark abyss but canon wise we don't know what's under there.

The 'second' world is the rest of the planet, this including the underworld: the surface is covered in medieval-like kingdoms and... then there's Troia. Technology on the surface varies according to the region with Baron's airships the dwarven tanks and Damcyan's hovercraft being the pinnacle of vehicles and everything else being really basic or magic centered. Speaking of magic, the Blue Planet loves it: alien races have advanced technologies (The lunarians and the creator both have planet-sized ships, basically) but only few people can take advantage of that, for everyone spells are the best way to deal with everyday's problems even if not everyone can use them.

Considering Rydia spent 17 years tyrying to be accepted back in the Feymarch she seems to consider the land of monsters her 'true' homeworld.

History

Link to her Wiki page

Bullet points:
- Rydia was born in Mist from an unknown father and spent her childhood with her mom in a small, lost village between mountains. She was likely to be the only kid of her place.
- At 7 she saw her village being destroyed by Kain and Cecil. She managed to forgive the and was somehow forced to travel with Cecil to stay alive.
- During their journey, after leaving Fabul, Leviathan attacks their ship. She is swallowed by him, kidnapped in the Feymarch and there she grows up trained by eidolons.
- She returns as adult after a while, joining Cecil and his friends in his quest to save the planet.
- After defeating Zeromus she tries to return to the Feymarch, place she considers her world, but Asura banishes her.
- Spends 17 years on the surface, in Mist, trying every now and then to return 'home' but she's never welcomed back. Her fellow villagers remind her they're waiting for the birth of a 'new summoner' (implying they're waiting her to have kids) but she never shows interest in anyone, not even Edge who keeps his eyes on her for the whole time (up to sneaking in her village, unseen, to check on her.). Rydia grows closer to the dwarven princess but at the same time she loses touch with her other friends (Rydia isn't seen interacting with Rosa, who was basically her BFF, once in the whole game).
The summoner visits the Feymarch one last time and her eidolons are attacked and turned to statues. She almost gets herself killed wandering outside with her spirit broken but Luca saves her. A new journey starts.
- She travels with her, Golbez, Edge and the Eblan four while the blue planet is being attacked by aliens who look a lot like her, Cecil acts like a crazy evil king because he's been brainwashed and Meteors hit the surface.
- She 'saves' some of the Eidolons and finds out Mist is safe because it was summoned by the rest of her villagers in time.
- Big reunion in Baron, Cecil is freed and everyone travels to the Moon. There's another big journey, they find out the crystals were created by an alien creature, the creator.
- The Creator is killed, they all flee from the collapsing moon, and the Maenads, the aliens who attacked the planet, end up helping them.
-By the end of the game Rydia is living in Mist again, now with the last living Maenad as her adopted daughter, and she finally reconciles with her adoptive family.

Personality

Rydia's most definining traits are her honesty and her kindness: she's a person who will always try her best to be honest and it would be incredibly easy to spot a lie between her words because her facial expressions will always betray what the summoner really thinks. The only exception? "I'm okay". Living on the surface and missing her homeland underground she learnt how to look at people and reassure them that nothing is wrong even when she's sad, scared or melanchonic.

She's very devoted to the people she considers her friends, being ready to speak up in their defense or fight to protect them, but the summoner shows kindness toward everyone, this including creatures without humanoid tracts. Being raised between monsters made her beauty standards a bit different from other people, she's accepting of all traits and what she looks the most in anyone is what's inside. It's worth noting that spending most of her childhood and part of her adulthood in the Feymarch and then isolating herself in what was left of Mist (an already reclused community) made Rydia a bit alienated from how normal human communities work. She can mix well enough but sometimes her oddness may show up.

Rydia is strongly driven by the need to help others and is seen more than once putting her own pain aside trying to motivate others in dark times, but during her years in the surface she lost part of her old confidence. If left alone she may let herself go, especially if people dear to her heart got injuried or died (In the beginning of her tale in TAY she almost gets killed because she 'gave up' when her eidolons are petrified). Despite having moments like that, now, she's still an extremely resilient person and considering she reconciled with her eidolon family her general mood is definitely going to improve.

Other traits worth mentioning are her ability to forgive basically everyone (Even Cecil and Kain, who burnt down her village, and Golbez who ordered Cagnazzo to have Mist destroyed.), even more than once, and her motherly attitude toward younger people. Being a foster mother had no time to really impact her life so far but the kids in Mist seem fond of her, as young monsters in the Feymarch are, she's just genuinely good and patient with kids (and adults, when they act like children.). She tries to see the best in everyone, always.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Stregths

 • Rydia is really good with magic: she had been a spellcaster since childhood and kept training for most of her life, this being already part of a magically strong bloodline. Learning spells shouldn't be too hard, even if they are different from the ones she had in her homeworld.[I tried to link it deparately but... full list of spells and summons is here in the gameplay section]
 • She is extremely empathic and socializes with ease. Wild animals and monsters may also be more inclined to approach her peacefully.
 • Proficient whip user: where magic fails a whip can provide the needed help.
 • She is comfortable around any kind of creature, no matters how ugly it is.
 • She has great navigation skills underground: the access to the Feymarch was in a maze-like cave with hidden passages and she spent a lot of time with a roof over her head, the undergroudn is familiar to her.

Weaknesses
 • Physically speaking, she's really weak. Like, really weak.
 • Talking about the passing of time makes her uncomfortable: Her body doesn't seem to age and there are few hints ingame that it's not just an aesthetic choice so I'd like to keep her aware of this.
 • Too kind: it's just... too easy to take advantage of her. And she'll probably forgive anyone. At least a couple of times.
 • She has problems finding her way in wide open spaces.

It's implied summoners aren't human in the purest sense but she doesn't differ aestetically from other people beside her hair color.

Fit
As a summoner Rydia had been stripped of white magic (it's blatant on the lunar trial where just returning a kid she manages to wield it again) so she'd probably show curiosity and interest in healing spells, trying something that was previously impossible for her. The various branches of magic would fascinate her, even if she'd probably be wary of blood magic, still accepting its users around: bring so close with demons, even if it will be a new concept for her, will sound scary.
Religion is another thing that will intrigue her: Bahamuth, her god, lives on the moon. He's there. She spoke with him, they used to see each other on regular basis, how can you believe in something that doesn't even seem to exist? It wll be confusing but fascinating at the same time.

Also, This setting is way more complex than the human world she's kinda used to (Not to mention the Feymarch where nothing changes) so Rydia would be rather interested in how differents politics are too, still not wanting to be involved. Oh, and considering her background she's more likely than other people to welcome with open arms creatures of all kinds, no matters how infamous their reputation are. And there's a new whole world filled with countless creatures to meet! She will probably spend a lot of time reading books about animals, monsters... eventually trying to find occasions to study or befriend them.

Sometimes the summoner wondered if the would would ever manage to stay peaceful for more than a week considering how everytime they fixed something more issues showed up. She missed the Feymarch, the security of feeling a roof over her head, the costant company of her beloved eidolons, the security that things weren't going to change... yet now she was traveling in Cecil's group and she knew there was no way back- not that she wanted to abandon her friends, of course. After entering in the small tent she decided to share with Kain (No way she was going to sleep with Edge and Cecil and Rosa... well, she couldn't ask them anyway) the summoner threw her pelts on the ground, trying to make some sort of mattress between her and the rocky surface of the area where they decided to build their camp.

"Uff..." Rydia closed her eyes, leaning on her improvised bedding and throwing one last pelt on her shoulders trying to find some warmth, too bad summoning Ifrit would require costant concentration in the human world and napping at his side wasn't an option. "What a week, wasn't it?"

It was probably a bad idea to talk with the dragoon since he didn't even bother to turn around when she entered, just offering her his back and ignoring her presence but... she was so used to have someone around in the Feymarch she almost felt the need to interact with him not even realizing that, with all that he passed, the main probably needed his time alone.

[game]: [community profile] duplicitynet
[fandom]: Final Fantasy IV
[game's current cast]: Rydia of Mist (The After Years), Kain Highwind (Post Dissidia 012)
[who I play]: Rydia of Mist
[wanted]: Anyone from the series would make us happy: from Cecil to Luca, from Rosa to Edge, there isn't a single character me and Kain's player wouldn't be happy to have around.

[game info]: Duplicity is a panfandom sex game with darker themes. The world itself is based on the concept of dom-sub and the whole society is built around a privileged class (the doms) and those who are basically abused (the subs). There are horror elements, exploration, survival and other things, most of the characters in the setting are trying to make the best of an awful situation building their small businesses, their small resistence groups, and some others just enjoy the place they are in. Bad behaviour (IC) is encouraged, it will be up to the single character to decide if it's how they want to live or if it's something they want to fight.
