Name: Rydia of Mist Door: Left door Canon: Final Fantasy IV Canon Point: The After Years - Right after an emergency landing near Agart. Age: 20-25 (apparent), 40-50 or even more in reality (It's unknown and it's hinted that the place she was raised in either stopped her aging at some point but there's nothing canon about it beside that 'In the Feymarch time flows erratically') Appearance: X , X History: Wikipedia link here Personality: She's generally trusting and forgiving to a fault... and she can be seen trying to push her everyone deserves a second chance on those around her as well. She's by no means a super patient saint, she has her bursts of rage (That can be quite violent, too) and she will take her time to forgive certain behaviours but- it's not always for the best. And trying to convince others to do the same isn't always a good thing and can backfire. She definitely gets overly sentimental over family bonds. That villain who almost killed everyone and seeked redeption only in the last five minutes? Cecil, come on, that's your only brother! Once incredibly honest to a fault, she is now keeping down her most unpleasant feelings. She will still be direct as she can, especially when upset with someone, but she will not talk easily of what pains her. Despite being known for her optimism in the original game, 17 years after saving the world she is a more melancholic person: being forced out of the Feymarch, the land she had been raised into, clearly hurt her. In both Palom's tale and Rydia's the summoner can be seen trying to return to her homeland just to be pushed away, she doesn't seem to take it lightly. Unlike her younger self, who always pushed forward, Rydia at this point of canon may be prone to give up if sadness overcomes her. A clear example is probably a scene at the beginning of her tale in which after seeing all the creatures in her homeworld turned into stone, realizing that one of her friends may be involved with it and having to escape the cave she was in... she just sits down and seems ready to let a monster take her life. Rydia is allowing the past to catch up with her, she can be also seen stopping in her path more than once to reminescence about negative moments of her past journey and momentary disconnecting from what's happening around her, but when needed she will still try sound positive and reassuring for those around her. With time and with the company of good friends she will have good chances to regain the energy and happiness that defined her in the past, especially if she sees them suffering (When her companion is the one giving up her hopes after they crash near Agart she is the one finally snapping out of her sadness and trying to give her strenght by reminding how her mentor would react in that situation.). She tends to have a protective attitude, especially toward her friends and younger people. Raised by the creatures of the Feymarch, monsters of all shapes and size, Rydia tends to dismiss a person's look instead focusing on someone's actions instead. She has very limited understanding of race based racism since in the underground everyone has a place and a role-(And even if Mist was originally created to keep summoners and humans apart since mixing bloods would translate in weaker summoners- she was eight when the village was destroyed and she never really assimilated that.). Deep down she still is a strong woman who can fight against any kind of adversities with a positive outlook, she still wants to have friends and deep bonds with those around her and even if at this moment the energy that defined her seems to be missing Rydia just needs time to find her spark once more. Sexually speaking: she's rather vanilla. She had little to no experience with partners and most of them were dwarves she met while traveling between the surface and the Feymarch. Rydia still doesn't know herself well but from what she has seen so far she tends to be dominant between the sheets, likes to bite and scratch and likes both men and women. Powers and Abilities:
